On the Trail of Quality Since 1976

Custom Navajo Sterling silver and water-web Kingman turquoise bolo tie by Charlie John.—SOLD!

SOLD!  This quality bolo tie has a thick, hand-braided dark brown leather lanyard; an old-style slide keeper on the back; a nice piece of water-web Kingman turquoise (from Arizona), and two custom Sterling silver drops (tips).   And, it is made and signed by Charlie John, one of the best-known Navajo silversmiths alive.  Actor Arthur Redcloud ("The Revenant") wore a Charlie John bolo tie on the Oscar Ceremony this year.  Some men wear bolos that belong in kids stores or interstate curious shops.  They're cheap, gimmicky, tourist-quality pieces of junk.  If you're not gonna wear a serious bolo don't wear one at all.  This is a serious bolo.  Wear it in the courtroom, the boardroom or the green room.  Another Charley John bolo tie of differing design with black leather lanyard is posted elsewhere on this website.  Length is 44-inches end-to-end, meaning it hangs around 22-inches long.
