Here is a masterpiece by Navajo master silversmith Gilbert Tom—who employed his famous intricately-stamped wide-flange surrounds in old-style patina. This lariat and matching earrings contain eight beautiful ribbon turquoise stones, alternating with seven Kingman, Arizona turquoise stones. 'Best of both worlds and very eye-catching. End-to-end length is 26-inches. Add 5.5-inches for the final three-stone drop. It should hang approximately 17-or-so inches down from the back of the neck. It employs a heavy-gauge Sterling chain as well. This isn't a gimpy lariat. The stones are all good-size (the bottom pendant is 1 and 7/8th's-inches long) and perfect. The necklace itself weighs 6.26-ounces. Those nice earrings are each 2.5-inches long and hallmarked as well. Elsewhere this might be a thousand or fifteen hundred dollars more (of course it might be on 'sale'—but still likely to cost more. It is hallmarked "Gilbert Tom" in cursive.
