Medium-size Navajo Sterling pendant with ribbon (boulder) turquoise by Gilbert Tom

The optimum characteristic for what is popularly called "boulder" turquoise (we prefer the name, "ribbon") is a distinct streak of turquoise coursing through the surrounding agate.  The piece above is a perfect example.  The streak, or "ribbon" is bright and wide in this stone.  The silversmithing includes both hand-stamping and repousse'. Length of this pendant is almost two inches, excluding the bale.  Width is 1.75-inches; weight is .68-ounce.  It ships with an 18-inch solid Sterling silver chain.  Hallmarked, "Gilbert Tom."
