These earrings are just right—not too big; not too small—with perfect, slightly rectangular colorful Sleeping Beauty turquoise. The Sleeping Beauty turquoise mine closed in 2012, so some of the so-called 'Sleeping Beauty' turquoise one sees nowadays is actually dyed howlite. These earrings are older—certainly not the half-century-or-so required to be considered "vintage"—but they don't appear to have been worn much, if at all. The maker took his or her time making these and even framed the stones with some very nice scalloped bezeling. The clip-on apparatuses are not loose at all. They are just-about three-quarters of-an-inch long, and 5/8th's-of-an-inch wide. Each earring weighs 5-grams, or .17-ounces. Stamped "Sterling," but no visible hallmark (though it may be hidden under the clasp mechanism). They are pretty sharp. Complimentary USPS tracked Priority shipping.
