This is a stunning No. 8 Mine turquoise pendant by Navajo silversmith Robert Shakey. This beauty features a perfectly-cut teardrop-shaped No. 8 Mine turquoise stone with beautifully contrasting copper matrix. It was made a little over a year ago. We were thinking about holding it back as part of the Drifter's effort to stash-back some high-quality Native jewelry that we rightfully fear is disappearing—or at the least diminishing. It's an example of the combination of hand-stamping and the time-consuming, reverse-stamped repousse' that has bloomed into across-the-board popularity now. Not counting the three-quarter-inch inside diameter bale, length is 2.25-inches. Width is 1.5-inches across the middle. It weighs 25-grams, or .88-grams. It ships with an 18-inch, solid Sterling silver box chain, or the buyer can upgrade to the pictured 5mm, 22-inch burnished Sterling Navajo "pearl" chain for an additional $111. Always complimentary shipping within the U.S.
