Sharp. Real sharp. Everything just works with this piece. That hand-rubbed "old-style" patina on the Sterling; the fine hand-stamping; the five pieces of repousse', and then—there's that stone. The Drifter favors the old original No. 8, but for all practical purposes that's pretty-much gone and too hard and expensive to acquire anyway. But we must admit that this new No. 8 Mine turquoise is quite nice. Actually, it's quite beautiful. And the Drifter is a sucker for anything beautiful, so here it is, available to the discerning buyer. We don't count the bale (here it is a little over half-inch inside diameter) when we measure, so the length without the bale is a total of 2 and 3/8th's-inches. And at the widest point it is 1.5-inches. Weight is 23.7-grams, or .835-ounces. It ships with an 18-inch solid Sterling box chain. Don't wait long on this one. Hallmarked "ROBERT SHAKEY."
