Traditional Navajo cuff with Sleeping Beauty turquoise.—SALE PENDING

NOTE:  This piece appears in the October, 2019, COWBOYS & INDIANS magazine on one of the magazine's model the Fall Fashion section of that issue.

During the last buying excursion the Drifter acquired a few smaller wrist-size pieces to fit his many smaller wrist-size clients.  This is one of those rarer beauties.  Th Navajo tend to make larger wrist sizes as the norm, chiefly because most of the Navajo ladies have a larger wrist size.  This one is a smallish 6.5-inch wrist circumference.  It weighs 2.26 ounces.  Sleeping Beauty turquoise has become very expensive since the demise of the mine,  These type of high-quality pieces are quickly disappearing.
