We're back! Now posting "Latest Acquisitions"

Very traditional Navajo cluster cuff with 29 Sleeping Beauty mine turquoise stones.

It's no wonder people seek-out remaining Sleeping Beauty turquoise pieces. The mine was destroyed in 2012 to access a copper formation beneath it, and existing Sleeping Beauty pieces have greatly escalated in price.  There have always been attempts at simulating Sleeping Beauty, but it is impossible to duplicate the black iron-ore ingrained into the real thing.  Just take the edge of your fingernail and scrape across the black spots.  With the real thing, one can feel the iron ore—like scraping one's fingernail over the filling in a tooth.   This one weighs four ounces and fits a wrist circumference of seven inches.  It is hallmarked "W W."
