SOLD! Chimney Butte is a big gregarious guy who happens to be very spiritual. And he makes jewelry as well. He apprenticed under the legendary Tommy Singer, R.I.P., in Singer's Dilkon, Arizona workshop. Chimney Butte was making jewelry out of a small stand on the plaza in Santa Fe when he was discovered by the members of the Hollywood set. Now he makes jewelry for them and for their movies as well. We occasionally acquire a few choice pieces from him as well. This size 8.5 ring is wonderfully worked—both the face portion and the band. The "Chimney Butte" hallmark, in cursive, is stamped inside that band and visible (upside down) in the first pic. This ring weighs 13-grams, or .46-ounces. We acquired it from Chimney Butte himself during a visit to his shop (4th pic). I would label the stone as turquoise, but have no idea from what mine—as Chimney Butte has a knack of coming-up with some far-reaching, little-known mines. This colorful artist is deservedly famous, and he'll likely be a lot more famous as time goes on. Complimentary USPS tracked Priority shipping within the U.S.
