Vincent Shirley 2.25-inch turquoise and red coral Navajo earrings. #2438a

Vincent Shirley is a top-tier Navajo artisan who incorporates Zuni smithing methods into his creations.  Here, those Mediterranean red coral settings are basically all inlaid.  The top surfaces are flat—flush with the Sterling bezeling.  This means the earrings are a full 1/8th-inch thick.  Nice.  The center stone is from the Kingman, Arizona turquoise mine. You'll find Vincent Shirley's work to be quite a bit more expensive elsewhere.  Not counting any part of the hangers, these earrings are 1.5-inches long.  They are three-quarters-of-an-inch wide near the bottom, and each earring weighs 6.8-grams, or .023-ounces.  Hallmarked "V S."  Complimentary USPS tracked Priority shipping within the U.S.
