Large, stylish Kingman turquoise pendant by Chimney Butte. #2465

Like its creator, this pendant is big and bold.  Chimney Butte is a man of high spirituality and imposing stature.  Though half-Comanche, Chimney Butte learned his chops apprenticing under the legendary Navajo artisan Tommy Singer, RIP.  He now makes custom jewelry for movie stars, such as Billy Bob Thornton ("Landman"); Brooker Shields and others.   Years ago he was making jewelry out of a small stand on the plaza in Santa Fe when he was discovered by the Hollywood set.  We squeeze a few pieces from him now and then (and offer them at a price more reasonable than we think you'll find elsewhere).  As usual for most of his work, this piece is quite showy.   It's 4 and 1/8th's-inches long (counting that fancy bale).  The bale itself has an inside diameter of 5/8th's-inches, so it will easily accommodate half-inch beads or 'pearls.'  Width is 1 and 5/8th's inches across at the widest point.  The large turquoise stones are from the Kingman, Arizona mine.  Weight is 57.2-grams, or 2-ounces.  Hallmarked "Chimney Butte" in cursive.  The price is for the pendant alone, without a chain.  We have 5mm, 6mm and 8mm Navajo 'pearls' that can be added for an additional, reduced cost when bought with the pendant.
