What a deal. Big, beautiful turquoise; heavy-duty thicker gauge Sterling chain; eight perfectly-formed pieces of reverse-stamped repousse', and made by well-known Navajo artisan Jell Johnson, Jr.. All for what one might pay today for a run-of-the-mill pendant with a gimpy chain. The Sterling has been rubbed into a satany, "old-style" patina that contrasts tastefully with the slight greenish hue of the turquoise. End-to-end length is 19.5-inches. Weight is 41-grams, or 1.45-ounces. Hallmarked "JJJ" with the last "J" a bit lower. The turquoise mine was not identified when we acquired it, but we would guess Kingman, and Jeff does tends toward using Kingman as well.
