Now THIS is a storyteller. You don't have to squint your eyes to see the story unfold here. Storyteller cuffs that are narrow barely get a hogan and an animal or two in. That's only a couple of words. 'Best get the popcorn out to take-in the story on this cuff. It is made by a young Navajo artisan who comes from a long lineage of artisans who do this type of smithing. A few decades back we relished in dealing in some distinct (and expensive) storyteller concho belts—with a different story on each concho—made by brothers Floyd and Lloyd Becenti (R.I.P.). Those pieces were coveted works of art. I see the resemblance of the brothers' work in this cuff. This beauty is two inches wide. Total inside circumference of the cuff is 6 and 5/8th's-inches, including the one-inch 'gap.' The cuff is thoughtfully made convex in nature, having a bit of an outward curvature throughout. Thus, one's wristbone will go inside the curvature, making it extremely comfortable to wear. The wearer should have a 6.5 to a 6.75-inch wrist—measured all the way around the wristbone. We highly suggest, or plea, to buy it to fit. "Gently shaping" a cuff into a different size can cause an unnatural bend, or 'kink' in the curvature of the cuff that will never come out—something nobody wants. We sell less cuffs by insisting people purchase a cuff that actually fits, but our customers are happy with the result. Weight of this spendid cuff is 91-grams, or 3.21-ounces. Hallmarked "B."
