This very-well-made cuff has a total inside circumference—including the 1-inch 'gap'—of 6 and 5/8th's inches. Its thick-gauge build won't allow changing the shape. The wearer needs to have a total wrist circumference (measured all the way around the wristbone) of 6.5-inches up to 6.75-inches—no more; no less. We see Jerry Cowboy items listed on the web as "vintage." Once again, "vintage" is the most mis-used term (from lack of knowledge or intentionally misrepresented) regarding Native American jewelry. We adhere to the same standard as the vintage Native American jewelry department at the Heard Museum, that true vintage Native American jewelry is made prior to 1970, before the widespread use of electric jewelry-making tools—back when NA jewelry was truly "hand-made." And since Navajo artisan Jerry Cowboy wasn't born until 1957, and didn't start making jewelry until 1975….well, go figure. Anyway, this 92-gram (or 3.25-ounce) cuff is substantial, classic and attractive. It has three perfect Sleeping Beauty stones that are starting to change hue. This cuff was likely made in the 80's or 90's. It is 1 and 3/8th's-inches across at the top, tapering to each end. The hallmark, "C," is stamped inside one of the ends of the cuff.
