Here's a bit spice for a grey day.  Spiney-oyster shell makes for beautiful jewelry.  Depending on the depth from which it is procured, colors range from white (shallow water) to purple (deeper water).  Orange comes from a middle-range depth, and there is a beautiful mahogany color that is derived from the transition from medium to deeper depths.  These colorful earrings are predominately orange but have an artsy tinge of mahogany color.  Pretty cool.  They are 1.25-inches long and nearly three-quarters-of-an-inch across at the widest point.  Each earring weighs 5.9-grams, or .20-ounces.  Hallmarked "PY."  Complimentary USPS tracked Priority shipping within the U.S.
